Cornflake Clusters:  A Sweet and Crunchy Treat

If you're looking for a sweet and crunchy treat that’s easy to make and always a hit, this Cornflake Clusters recipe is a perfect choice! With its irresistible combination of crunchy cornflakes, rich caramel, and a touch of salt, it’s the kind of treat you’ll find yourself making again and again.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cornflakes

  • 120g butter

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Optional ingredient:

  • Chocolate to drizzle on top

  • Sea salt for topping

Instructions:

  1. First put the butter and the brown sugar in a pan and heat it at medium until the sugar and butter melt (about 2 minutes) then simmer on low for another 2 minutes. Then pour that mixture over top of your cornflakes.

  2. Spread the cornflake mixture overtop a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes at 350F or 175C

  3. Next step is take out of the oven and let cool completely. If you want you can either coat them all in chocolate or you can drizzle chocolate on top of them like I did. For the chocolate just use whatever chocolate you like (I mixed semi sweet with milk) and melt them in the microwave. Then drizzled on top.

  4. Let them completely cool and break them apart and enjoy!
